How to model parts ‘flying’ in to the sub assembly

Sometimes it is difficult to show how parts need to be assembled in the existing model so far in building instructions.

This is how you can create this behavior in MLcad.

  1. BUFEXCHG STORE A
  2. Brick(s)
  3. BUFEXCHG STORE B
  4. BUFEXCHG RETRIEVE A
  5. !LPUB PART BEGIN IGN (old style, comment)
  6. Brick(s) – flying in same as in STORE A
  7. Arrow(s)
  8. !LPUB PART END (old style, comment)
  9. STEP
  10. BUFEXCHG RETRIEVE B

With LPub3D this results in:

Alternative with one BufferExchange ‘nest’:

  1. BUFEXCHG A STORE
  2. Brick(s)
  3. Arrow(s)
  4. STEP
  5. BUFEXCHG A RETRIEVE
  6. !LPUB PART BEGIN IGN
  7. Brick(s) – flying in same as in STORE A
  8. !LPUB PART END
